The Vietnam 10,000 Dong banknote is part of the 1993 issues. It is red, green, orange, and purple in color and measures 140 x 69 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms and Ho Chi Minh. The reverse side features three boats sailing among Ha Long Bay rock formations. This banknote has no security thread and contains a watermark with a Ho Chi Minh design.
This uncirculated 10,000 Vietnamese dong note was issued by the State Bank of Vietnam in 2020. It is a yellow, brown, and green polymer note. Its obverse side shows the Vietnamese coat of arms and former president Ho Chi Minh. Its reverse side shows a view of the offshore oil platforms in the Bach Ho Oil Field. Because the note is made of polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a shadow image of the One Pillar Pagoda. Its dimensions are 132 mm x 60 mm.
