Vietnam.South.Vietcong.One Dong.1968. P#R4. Unissued. Uncieculated.
You are purchasing one banknote. The note was printed in China. There is no date on the note. Experts date the note as printed in the year 1968. The note was intended for use in Vietcong (the NFL) controlled territory in South Vietnam. However, the notes were never issued. A large majority of these notes were seized by American and South Vietnamese in a joint raid in Cambodia. Very few of these notes actually found their way into circulation. Thus, the condition of most of these notes is due to handling and storage. Front-Farmers harvesting rice. Obverse-School girls in a classroom. Front-Lettering Translation- The Central Committee. National Liberation Front of South Vietnam One DongObverse Lettering- One Dong. Size- 4.8” X 2.4 (rectangular) This note will make a fine addition to any serious collection of banknotes. This is truly a beautiful note. The scans pictured are of the actual not you will receive on purchase. The scans have not been altered. I have pointed out minor flaws that you may not see in the scanned pics. I want to be completely transparent. Again, in my opinion, the note is in extremely fine condition, and well worth the price.
