The 100 Vietnamese Dong Banknote from 2016 was issued to commemorate the 65th anniversary of national banking in Vietnam. Its obverse side features a portrait of former Prime Minister Ho Chi Minh, a 65 logo in gold SPARK and the coat of arms of Vietnam. The reverse side features the State Bank of Vietnam headquarters building in Hanoi, a mythical folk hero famously known as Saint Giong, and an exquisite pattern found on the Ngoc Lu bronze drum. The note is 163 x 83 mm in size and contains a Windowed Motion security thread, and a watermark image of a Lotus flower and electrotype to enhance its security features.
